The years 2020 and 2021 show enormous growth in the clothing industry which is mostly inspired by the late ‘90s and the early 2000's fashion trends. Today I am here to give you some personal tips on how you can prepare your wardrobe for this summer!

1. Corsets

Wearing a corset not only improves one's body posture but also gives a sensual and chic vibe with a hint of vintage and feminine aura!

It can be paired up with flared pants, mom jeans and wide-leg pants/jeans. Add heeled sandals to your outfit to make it more attractive. If you are someone who feels uncomfortable wearing a corset then you might wear it over an oversized shirt.

2. Halter Tops

Halter neckline is my current obsession due to it's alluring and fashionable energy. Thanks to designers like Jacquemus and Christian Dior for giving it a rebirth and allowing the Gen Zs to experience the nostalgic years of fashion.

As for styling it up, you can either match it up with a pair of wide-leg pants or a skirt. Accessorize the look by adding rectangular sunglasses and a shoulder bag. For footwear, you can either go with square toe heeled sandals or your regular white sneakers.

3. Cut out dress

If you are someone who wants to look extra for your birthday party or for clubbing with friends but feel uncomfortable showing too much of your skin, a cut-out dress is all you need as it's simple yet exceptional. From New York to Paris, the designers have given rise to this trend.

A cut-out dress can be worn with any pair of heels that you admire. Adding a mini handbag will make the look complete!

4. Biker Shorts

Biker Shorts or cycling shorts came into account when bicycles were a new way of transportation but later became a fashion statement. I love this piece of clothing as it's both comfortable and trendy!

It can be paired up with an oversized sweatshirt/ t-shirt, a basic cropped top, or even with a combination of a bra top and an oversized shirt. A pair of sneakers and a baguette bag would be cherry on the top!

5. Wide Leg Jeans

These pair of jeans are something we didn't know we needed! They are both comfortable and stylish and so much better than wearing skinny jeans in summer!

To get a sophisticated look, you can style it with a button-up shirt and for a casual look, pair it with an oversized t-shirt or with a cami top and oversized shirt. Complete the attire by adding heeled sandals or a pair of sneakers to it.
